Val Denece's Story
First of all, my name is DeNece. Wow! A whole lifetime in a few lines. I've been married to my husband, Jim(who lived across from the Ottersons for years), for 38 (going on 39) years. I have 5 children: Michael (35), Sarah(32), Marc(deceased), Adam(30), and Alana(27). Three of my children are married and I have 5 grandchildren, so far. My youngest was a cheerleader for 4 years and graduated in 2001. My career has been in escrow. I started in escrow in 1970 and have been an officer, branch manager and commercial escrow officer. Worked for 5 years as a qualified intermediary and VP of First American Exchange. I attended Alan Hancock Community College and Santa Barbara Business College. That's it in a nutshell (or two).
