Roy's Story
Life
After High School, I attended TCU for three years. Worked for several radio stations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area...opened an advertising agency in Dallas...worked with many national record companies and became close friends with quite a few recording artists, including Willie Nelson, Ray Price, Sammi Smith, Johnny Darrell, Mickey Newbury, Jerry Jeff Walk...Expand for more
er and others. Promoted many concerts in all areas of the country. Sold agency in 1976, and started a swimming pool business.
Have been in the pool business since that time. Still maintain contacts in the enertainment business and promote concerts from time to time. Married for 35 years. Have four children, seven grand-children and two great-grand-children.
