Doug's Story
What a tremendous ride. Since high school, I attended the University of Colorado, living in Woodland Park, a mountain town near Colorado Springs.
Have 3 great kids who are now all grown up and scattered throughout the west, living their lives. I'm so proud of them.
As for me, I always had a dream to learn to fly. So...in the mid 70s I did just that! Became a pilot and eventually turned it into a career both as a pilot, a flight instructor and have been teaching aviation related courses at ...Expand for more
the high school and college levels for years now.
Currently, I live in the Seattle area enjoying the Pacific Northwest and all its natural beauty. The weather? Don't ask! They say 'if you don't like the weather, stick around. It'll change.' Well, I've been here now 15 years and one thing is for certain. It rains! A lot!! But, I guess the rain provides the foundation for all the beauty.
I'm hopeful to catch up with many of you Trojans out there. Would love to know how life has treated you.
