Workplace Professional History: March 2006- Present- Vice President, Income Development, Community Health Charities, Inc. - Arlington, VA Provides leadership to Market Business Development through the implementation of corporate strategies via leadership and account management. Also responsible for Affiliate Development ensuring that business results are achieved through effective development of CHC affiliate volunteer and staff leadership. August 2005- March 2006- Managing Director, American Diabetes Association Income Development- Alexandria, VA Major Responsibilities- Development of a business partnership, re-establishment and realignment of a joint not for profit corporation, and development of a new revenue stream. This new venture is anticipated to generate $25-30 million dollars in 5 years. January 2002- August 2005- Managing Director, American Diabetes Association Service Center- Fairfax, VA Major Responsibilities- management, planning, strategy, and initial implementation of a shared service center supporting the financial processing needs of the Association. Responsible for developing a staff of more than 60. Process planning and mapping, integration and relationship building with various departments, metrics development, and customer service functions. Implementation of the start up operation occurred in less than 90 days and was handling over 45,000 donor transactions in its 5th month of operation. Annual volume over $200 million and more than 750,000 donor transactions.
