alf year master's program in Melbourne,Australia,
Traveling is my favorite thing to do. I enjoy seeing other countries- their cultures and their architecture. I try to travel three times a year.
I like to see countries before they become popular so I went to Antarctica by myself back in 1985, The Galapagos in 1976 and then on to the Amazon where I spent a week in a floatel that looked like the boat in the movie Anaconda. I studies Mayan ruins with UCLA before they were opened to the public riding bareback through the jungle to some of them.
Since that time I have become more civilized and have gone to Europe, Asia, and Australia.
I prefer ruins and history to staying in a fancy hotel . I prefer tours that tell you the history of the country and about its art, architecture and its politics.
I have an advanced degree in caving from UCLA. This means that I can go into wild caves not opened to the public and help with mapping expeditions. We rappel with only ropes strung over our shoulders.
I always wanted to live in a house overlooking the ocean especially to watch the water during a storm. For 37 years that is the view I have.
I was lucky with the way things turned out.
