Harriet's Story
How could it possilbe be 50 years when I am only 40? Life has flown by and now we had better party before it it too late.
I left Warren at 18 never to return. As my mother used to say, "Man plans and God laughts." The road to a life is never what is planned. What happened to the 2.5 Children and the white picket fence?
i am a graudate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. After 37 years I excaped and retired. The road was long but I had many advantues with the Gifted abnd Talented students. I taught Algebra Honors and was the Math Team coach.
In the year 2002 I was finalist for Broward County Teacher of the Year and MathCounts Coach of the state of Florida.
I have two Children. My daughter, Marci, is a family law attorney in Boca Raton Florida and my Son, STeven, is a small Animal VET in Lake Worth, Florida.
As I look back on the past fifty years I have been a very lucky person. I had wonderful parents, two wonerful successful children and a great career.

g every minute of it. I just purchased a condo On the beach in Fort Lauderdale and am living my dream.
i am glad that I grew up in Warren. We gew up slow and things were simple for us. My parents did the best they could and I thank them for everything that they did for me. They were outstanding role models.
I know now that life is about how many lives you have touched. It is not about how many things that you have.
I have chabged since I left Warren as a young girl, We were all so over protected. Now I am a well seasoned retired woman.
We have all changed but life has had it's ups and downs. Hopefully for us more ups than downs. I will be in Warren for the reunion and can not wait to see the girls of troop 73.
I am a stong independent SINGLE woman. My new home near Fort Lauderdale beach is my dream come true. Who would have ever thought that I would be here 50 years later.
The best of the best to the class of 64.
