Harry's Story
After JHS, I went on to Wake Forest (BA), then to Duke (MDiv), then to Yale (MA, PhD), and was a professor at the University of Virginia for 44 (!) years. Retired in 2014 to our small horse farm in Keswick, VA, where my wife, Tamara, and I live with two horses, two dogs, three cats and abundant wildlife. good health, and are trying to age with a measure of grace and gratitude. As the saying goes, "Youth is a gift of nature, but age is a work of art." I have many fond memories, some still quite vivid, of friends and occasions at Jefferson, and (further back) at Lee Junior High School (long-since demolished), and Crystal Spring Elementary, and I regret having lost touch with so many whose company enriched me in those years.
