Harry's Story
Life
I normally don't like posting a "bio" on a website like this (and I see that just about everyone else shares the same sentiment) because I don't know what to say without it sounding like a "brag board".
I'll try to keep it brief.
Since I left "the Ville" life has treated me very well. I have led a most blessed and charmed life. I couldn't ask for more. I found my way into the live music entertainment business shortly after graduating and spending a year at Ohio State trying to figure it all out. I didn't attend many classes at OSU as at age nineteen and being away from home for the first time in my life, all I wanted to do was party like everyone else. I met a band from Youngstown and soon joined them and quickly dropped out of school. After spending a couple of years in the bars in the area and enduring the taunts and wrath of family and other friends, I got lucky and was offered a job touring with jazz legend Maynard Ferguson. I spent a couple of years learning road skills at "Maynard U." and networked my way into the rock and roll business.
At age 22, I convinced myself that all this was only temporary and that I'd "get a real job" by the time I was 30. Here I am at 51 years old and still doing what I love and the...Expand for more
thing I know best - mixing audio for live shows with some of the top artists in the (pop) world. To see the rest of the story, please visit my website at atomicmonitors.com. There's a link to view and download my entire resume there. All of my contact information is also on my website.
I cordially invite any and all to contact me if you are ever in the Dallas area where I now live with my beautiful wife Judy of 28 years. She is an absolute angel of a woman who has blessed me with 2 of the most wonderful children anyone could wish for - Justin who is now 23 and working "in the biz" at a TV station in Jacksonville, FL & my daughter, Andrea, 20, who is an honors student at SMU here in Dallas.
I thank God every day for all of my blessings - most of all the greatest blessing was growing up in our wonderful little town of Wellsville and knowing the greatest people on earth who live(d) there. My fondest memories of my life are still in my youth!
Thank you for visiting my profile on classmates.com. Drop me a line!
Harry
p.s - I guess it's against classmates rules to list any contact info in this bio so please drop me a line and I will be glad to give anyone from Wellsville who wants to get in touch with me my contact information.
