Life
I was one of the few, the proud, the BT's. Made the IO cruse in 83 and yes at the Foot Print of Freedom for 3 months, then on to Perth, what a blast. And who could ever forget the OPPE, yikes. I got out in 85 and joined the Reserve in 86 and spent another 6 1/2 years there. They wanted me to change my rate from BT to GS so I said so long and joined the Air Force Reserve where I retired from, after 23 years, in December. We got out of the cold (Wisconsin) and came to the warmth, haha. Hurricanes? No problem, better then any snow storm. I returned in March 07 from a 15 month tour in Iraq as a civilian contractor working in the counter IED program.(electronics to stop the remote detionation of the road side bombs). Life is good!
Well back to Iraq again in the counter IED business. I am at COB Speicher now and I work directly for the manufacturer of the "Jukebox", a cell phone signal jammer.
