Paula's Story
Life
Greetings to alums of Wayne Valley, McKinley Tech, UMCP, and St. John's College. You may know me as Paula Hartman, Paula Cohen, or Paula Behnken, because I answer to all of those names!
I graduated from Wayne in 1961 (as P. Hartman), from UMCP in 1965 (as P. Cohen), taught at McKinley for four years, received a master's from SJC in 1974, and have held a number writing and teaching ...Expand for more
jobs ever since.
Dave Behnken, Wayne HS Class of 1958, and I were married in February 2003, in a small town in western Massachusetts. I currently work as a writer; he's an electrician. Both of us enjoy living and working in a rural community, singing in choruses, and visiting our (combined four) grown children and three grandchildren in various parts of the world.
