intimations of mortality doth appear. at age 66, i remain moderately athletic and walk/do dumbbell exercises (to which my friends indicate comes easily). started to get twinges of arthritis such as herbreden's nodules neatly placed on little fingers of both hands. (that is a precursor of arthritis.) flexiblity is not as good as formerly. otherwise ok. the question is, once death occurs, what to expect? as an atheist and a member of the mammalian family, i anticipate dis...Expand for more
solution physically and therefore mentally and emotionally. i would wish otherwise but suspect there is nothing beyond our corporeal being. so, while all experience and pleasures and pain are transient, let us enjoy the present as, upon death, there is nothing. this is not to say that i am a horror as a friend. i have a great sense of humor and can inspirit other folk. by being enthusiastic about them and other evanescent joys. best wishes to all, regardless of your beliefs.
