Since October of 1986, most of my income has come from being a freelance book editor. From 2003 through 2010, I appeared stark naked 13 times on an American TV series that's broadcast internationally and used in college courses around the world. As I started to cross Queen Street in Auckland, New Zealand, two college-age boys recognized me from the TV series even though I had my clothes on when I was on Queen Street.
