Dawn's Story
Well,
I met my husband Jerry in 8th grade at SKATELAND!
By my senior year I THOUGHT I already knew everything so I got married in Jan 85 quit school and moved to Detroit!
(Shows how much I DIDN'T know! LOL)
Later that Year We had our first child JJ, Moved to Westland about 3 years later Where I worked at Club Mayhem for over a year, until it burned down, Then went to Greg's Emergency Room Lounge, for about a year and a half until....
Prego again, With my oldest Daughter. We bought a house in Redford Mi, Nov 1989, Had Caslynn Feb 90.
Went back to school for Computer applications that year. Finished that. Started working at Newport Ritchie's until prego again 93.
Had Tylor in Aug 93. Started working at HEARTBREAKERS as Bartender On Joy and Telegraph for a couple of years until it was bought by new owners and Re-Named LUCKY'S BILLIARDS & BREW.
Was hired by them as asst. Manager/Bartender/Waitress,
Trained Manager (The owners brought their Manager who was only freakin 22 years old! Still wanted to party and always wanted to leave so guess who ran things.)
Worked there until.....
Prego again, Had Leah Dec 97, Had Hysterectomy May of 98 LOL, Then broke my foot 6 weeks later. Got cast off 8 weeks later. Oct I ended up in a half cast on my right arm/hand from making a costume and and using a knife to cut ears off a stuffed animal, sliced the middle finger and damaged nerves.(stupid)
TRIED to go back to work 99 Started bartending/Waitress at The bowling ally Country Lanes in Farmington for about 4 months.
Until.....LOL
My husband called me at work to tell me My Oldest JJ ran away and took all his crap he was 14 (he thou...Expand for more
ght he knew everything too lol)
That's when I knew it was time to stay home. The neighborhood was getting really bad. We put the house on the market in late 2001 was on the market for six months and no bites took it off and went with new relater from Redford and it sold in 3 days! had 30 days to get out, Didn't have anywhere to go! lol.
Jerry's boss wanted to put him on a 5 yr job in Monroe, so we found a relater here and spent the day with her looking at house after house! found one needed a bigger one for sure! We were in that 1200sq foot house the kids sharing 2 bedrooms.The 6 of us and two dogs smashed long enough.
Thankfully we stayed 13 years and sold at the perfect time so made a good profit to put down on this one. (2600sq foot)or we would never have been able to afford a mortgage for what we needed.
We have been here 6 years now I really like it out here its nice. We also have 10 acres of property Up North in South Boardman (Kalkaska) Its been in Jerry's family for years. His Grandpa owned it first, then his dad,then his brother then his sister and now us lol. Were keeping it. My Mom and her husband have a house on it right now and Brandy is also there. Someday we will move there.
I Finally got my GED in 2007! I built a website for my Astrology stuff I'm still into that lol. I'm actually still in the process of adding much more. Im re-doing the homepage it was transferd to a better server and got a bit screwed up but was totally changing it anyway. Trying to do the work at home thing. Although now that the kids are older I'm looking into something to do.... OUTSIDE THE FREAKIN HOUSE LOL
