Chantel's Story
Life
I have been married since 1993 and we have a beautiful daughter born in 1994 and a son born in 2008 (14 year gap, what was I thinking????) My husband is also an electrical engineer and works in the Loop. I love spending time with my beautiful sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Theta Omega Chapter.
School
Worst moment ever in grade school - Having an accident in front of my fourth grade class during Spelling.

College

ell say it didn't exist but I had one of the best times of my life at USC. Alpha Sweethart, Air Force ROTC, my roommate Toilon, I remember Harold Miner (former NBA pro). Lots and lots of memories. Fell in love with LA and still love it today. Always try to visit the campus when I visit although I only spent one year there!
Workplace
After graduating from IIT with a degree in Electrical Engineering, I was hired at Underwriters Laboratories in 1996. I am currently the Manager for Health Sciences at the Corporate Headquarters in Northbrook, IL.
