Life
A couple of years after high school I joined the Navy as a Torpedoman to earn money for college, not knowing that not even two years later I would be in Saudia Arabia fighting in Desert Storm. After serving six years in the Navy, traveling all over the world, and attaining E5 status, I decided it was time to leave. I went to college and received my degree, I am now happily married, I have three...Expand for more
wonderful children and I now live in Michigan. I have my own business as a Wedding and Event Planner, but have not been able to spend much time at it because I took a job as Controller at Standard Printing which was founded in 1892. I am in charge of accounting and human resources and I love it here, so putting my business on hold hasn't been a huge deal, but one day I will spend more time at it.
