Life
1984: Left highschool with Secretarial Sciences Degree
1985: Worked downtown Rochester as secretary at First Federal Bank
1985: Determined to go to college: entrance into Roberts Wesleyan College
1989: Graduated Roberts with double major in Communications and Business
1989: Began work at IMC in Rochester as secretary
April, 1990: Marriage to Dennis Humphrey and move to Canada
September, 1990: After working papers are approved, work as recruiter for 500 Selection Services in London, Ontario Canada
September 1991: Move to Chicago for Dennis to attent Trinity University for his Master's Degree in Psychology
September 1991: Land a job as Office Manager for Temporary Placement Firm
October, 1992: Daughter Elizabeth Faith Humphrey arrives, 7lbs, 11 oz
March, 1993: Begin work at Baxter Healthcare as Executive Assistant in Human Resources (get foot in the door)
June, 1993: Dennis receives Masters of Arts in Psychology
November 1994: Adam James Humphrey arrives, 7lbs, 3 oz
January, 1995: Promoted to Human Resources Specialist
Septempber 1996: Promoted to Hum...Expand for more
an Resources Development Specialist
March, 1997: Promoted to Communications Specialist (7 years out from BA, I land a job in my speciality area!)
August, 1997: Arrival of Evan Joseph Humphrey, 7lbs
January, 1998: Promoted to Communications Manager for Baxter's Y2K Initiatives
January, 1999: Boss who was managing the Y2K initiative left the company: I was promoted to Y2K Project Manager
Year 2000: Nothing went wrong with Baxter products during Y2K rollover!! Yeah
March, 2000: Promoted to E-business Consultant
February, 2001: Arrival of Aeden Kurt Humphrey, 6 lbs, 13 oz
May, 2001: Promoted to Manager, Privacy and Security
June, 2002: Promoted to Director, Compliance
April, 2003: Recogized as Baxter's Chief Privacy Officer for the protection of Baxter's Personal Information
September, 2004: Husband attending Trinity University for Ph.D. in Education
Somewhere admist the hubbie, kids, dog, fish, school, work, homeschooling, karate, music, church activites, I think of my high school days and the friends, that when I see them, it will be just like old times.
