Heather's Story
It's interesting that anyone would want to read my story as I felt like an outcast for much of my younger life. College was an improvement but health issues continued to make life difficult. After spending four years in a relationship that was just going nowhere, I packed up my stuff and moved to Colorado on my own. A bit impulsive - but I wanted to get away from all the crap that made my life in NJ unpleasant.

d sometimes lacks some of the excitement I used to enjoy. But I actually found a reliable man with which to build a strong marriage and family. My daughter is almost five and she brings a different kind of excitement to my life.
On the career front, I dabbled in PR, became a Software Engineer, worked my way up to a Principal SE, took time off for health and family reasons, earned an MBA in Operations Managemnet, and started my own business.
So now I am an entrepreneur / small business owner.
