My husband (Tony), children (Kristen and Nathan) and I live in Oregon. We share our home in the country with 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 4 horses. Kristen's really into horses and Nathan's still pretty little so he just hangs out with us.
I am a 6th grade teacher and coach high school volleyball. I played volleyball in high school and college and continue to play on co-ed and womens teams. Tony and I also enjoy playing co-ed softball.
School

College
I attended the University of Central Oklahoma and earned my bachelors degree. I took some classes at the University of Oregon, and ended up completing my masters program at Pacific University. Lately I have been taking history classes - seems more important and interesting to me now then before.
Workplace
I've been teaching since 1997. I started out as a middle school and high school teacher (I've even taught driver's ed - scary.) Now I work specifically with 6th graders. They're a rare breed but are really cool. I love my job.
