that I am the person I am today. Now some played small parts...while others played bigger ones but all meaningful in its own way. It seems like a lifetime ago that we all started our journey into adulthood. Now that I am thirty I can look back and realize that tho I thought I knew everything nothing compares to real life experience and my parents were almost always right., but don't tell them I said that. Freshmen year....what do I remember about that...Learning to say “it's cool” when you walked into a bathroom, just in case some student happened to be smoking in there...learned that one the hard way...I did get picked on by a couple senior girls. One did the “pet the freshmen” where she rubbed my shoulder and said nice freshmen....or maybe she was just coming on to me. The other slammed my locker shut, but after Ii had already finished and was about to close it anyways, so it didn't have the same effect. I just said “thanks” and walked away...I believe this was also the year I met Melissa and started hanging out with college boys.
