Heather's Story
In the last 20 years, I haven't done everything I thought I would by now. I did get my degree in Biology, work for a zoo, travel to Europe and Costa Rica, climbed Mt. Hood, married and had three children. My careers have included working for a veterinary clinic, teaching piano and rock climbing, studying plant diseases and environmental toxins, but still haven't figured out what my next career will be. San Diego last year and I've been a stay-at-home mom for three boys, ages 3, 8 and 10 for the first time and I'm kind of liking not having to juggle career, husband and kids all at the same time. I've been very active in the kids' school and sports and music activities, and I feel busier with them than I ever was working outside. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, especially my "oldest" friend Mary. She still always makes me smile.
