Heather's Story
Life
Hey fellow ZHS alums! So let's see... I got reaquainted w/Jeff Regan (also from ZHS) in 1999, we adopted 2 cats in 2000; got married in 2001; had our daughter, Emma, in 2003; and our son, Jay, in 2006. Jeff is currently a Captain and a missileer in the Air Force and we are currently stationed in Wyoming. I am a stay-at-home mom, and, yes, I do drive a mini-van!
School
Ah... highschool... the BEST and WORST of times, right? The start of some lifelong friendships, maybe relationships... learning to drive... dances.... and also, hormones running amok... cliques... homework and standardized tests... I miss some of it, but most of it, I'm glad to be done with. Do any of you ever find yourself saying, "Good Lord, how STUPID was I?!?!" :) But, of course, I would have to do it all over again, because, how would I know what I know today without having gone through that?
Inspirational teachers... Mr. Sinaguglia - who recently passed and will be missed by many of us - made those Shakespearean classics more interesting; Mrs. Palmer, a great teacher, sponsor, advisor; Mr. Pittman and his "bobos"; Mr. Boyd - now retired - who...Expand for more

Best memories... senior skip day, pep rallies, game days, dances, after-dance parties, regular parties, McD's parking lot, "teen night" at the bowling alley, surfing the hill, cheerleading stuff,yearbook, graphic arts, grad night... too many to name
College
I wish I would have gotten more out of college than I did... for as many credits as I have, I SHOULD have gotten more out of it! (HA HA) Well, there's a reason they call - or did call - FSU the #1 partying school in the nation! So, I started at FSU in the fall of 1990, and left at the end of the fall semester in 1991 with a DISMAL GPA... and then spent the next 5 or 6 years (I've lost count) trying to make up for it, which I never did, unfortunately. After FSU, I went to PHCC - Dade City, then to USF. I took a class or two at HCC also, but then moved to NE and started the family life. So, needless to say, the college years were a bit of a struggle, or basically, my entire early to mid 20's were a struggle! Maybe one day I'll go back to college if I can decide what I want to be when I "grow up". (ha ha)
