Heather's Story
I married my high school sweetheart. Incredibly, we are still together, 31 years and counting. We have one daughter, the light of our life, currently in college, which still doesn't seem remotely possible. Full years have flown far too quickly. I have returned to college and enjoy the new adventure and challenges as a student. Although, I am still a nerd, some things are immutable. My goal is to work in Occupational Therapy with special needs children. I also provide care for my elderly parents, at present. ating my daughter from preschool through her high school graduation. I have also retired from my other life's work as a professional child care provider, another privilege I was blessed with. God, family, school, dance, writing, literature,music, nature, and helping others are my primary life passions. I intend on becoming a member of the Centenarian's club. Having almost made it to the halfway mark, I pray the next half will be as remarkable, filled with love, growth, adventure, and challenges. Every season under heaven, the markers of a life lived well, prayerfully, just as blessed as the first.
