Heather's Story

Life Immediately after high school, I began working part-time for an advertising agency, which led to one part-time clerical job after another, including bank teller, account manager, etc. I started my own Home/Office cleaning business, which covered my bills nicely for some time. Most of my time, however, was spent conducting home Bible studies with people. In 1992, I married Ghayas (pronounced "Guy-us") Salem and moved to New Jersey. We lived in West Orange, NJ for our first year of marriage. Then we moved to Stamford, CT. Then, in 1998, We moved out here to sunny San Diego, California. Wow! I NEVER had a desire to even visit California, much less live there, but I changed my ways. If you have never visited San Diego, plan a trip! The weather is just about...Expand for more
perfect...averaging more than 300 sunny days/year compared to Scranton's 70! People are pretty laid back, great Mexican food, and there is a ton of great stuff to do, especially if you have kids. Oh brother, you'd think I was with the Tourism Bureau...anyway, we really enjoyed it there. I'm still not skinny, but I stay in good shape/health. Then, in 2004, we moved back to PA...miss the family! Were currently here, in Clarks Summit...but I'm all over NEPA from time to time, so you never know...maybe we'll run into each other. Thanks for reading my bio. Email me! I'm on the computer almost every day. Finally, a friend in California had a rear window sticker of a palm tree that read "No Bad Days". You don't really need the palm tree. Make today a great day!
