Heather's Story
I live with my boyfriend, Michael. Have been with him since November, 2003. He has a son, Jacob, who lives with his friend, Amber. They are such young go-getters! I have been on Disability since late 2008 and am on Social Security now for several reasons but I am a positive person and keep myself upbeat as best I can each day. Michael and I work on my positivity Facebook page, Heather's Paradise of Health and Harmony, to help others in body, mind, and spirit. I enjoy making my own Potpourri. Heather's Paradise of Health and Harmony has it's own Exclusive Signature Scent now! It's a Clove/Cinnamon scent with soft Citrus undertones and I do sell it to help keep the page running. I am very grateful to have help with my endeavors. Michael and I love being able to help people and spread the word of love, peace, and happiness. I feel the world has enough hate in it and we need to eliminate as much of it as we can! My movement is my way of helping the world.
I always wanted to be a person who can fix anything when I grew up. I love holistic health, nutrition, spirituality, anything mystical & march to my own beat.
I bowled way back when and had bowling trophies back when I was a young teenager. Even number one for the bowling league for top score!!! Also, when 14, was #9 in the swim competition with the whole state of Massachusetts! Overall!!! Even beat many seniors, who were the majority of all the swim teams in the state. I used to do the endurance race - 24 laps in an olympic siz...Expand for more
ed pool (VERY large pool!), doing breast stroke, backstroke, butterfly stroke, and freestyle stroke. You needed endurance for THAT race, for sure!!! I usually won or was at least in the top 3 (I think 2, actually!). I have to admit I was great, but I don't like competition so I quit to do cheerleading.
Oh, yeah - about the bowling - it was CANDLEPIN bowling, with only 2 turns!
For more sports, I like the Red Sox, the Patriots, and the Bruins. I like reading. Used to be being on the computer constantly, but I calmed down with that to a few times a week. I like watching TV - love Cartoon Network!
I liked and still like reading murder mystery books. I especially like non-fiction stories. Sometimes I like romances (it shocked me) but I don't like the mushy ones. No Fabio for me!
If I'm going out anywhere, I need to have my wallet, cover-up powder, and Blistex to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
If I won $100 million, I'd give $5 million of it to each sister, then spend the rest on a log cabin in the country/woods, get a new car and live off the interest.
People who know me best would tell you I'm one of a kind and crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a snob (due to being shy).
I dress very comfortably now and I love it!
I share my home with my landlord, which I find convenient but hate not knowing her schedule.
In 10 years, I hope to be happy AND financially safe. I'm going to get there by saving as much as I can and paying off my bills.
