Life December 2007 Hello All..... I'm attempting to squeeze my life bio here for you if your interested..... We live kinda rural, surrounded by state park, in the Santa Monica Mountains. I have one child, a daughter Shilah 39, who recently moved to Austin for her self owned music related business......I was single 17 years, after divorcing choosing to raise Shilah on 22 acres, with lots of animals just outside Los Angeles in the Santa Monica Mountains. I met my husband 20 years ago who is a musician/composer and has the good fortune to make his living at it. He tours the world with the English band he's been a member of for the past 25 years. He is also a writer. After leaving VNHS, I went to LAVC and was discovered in a musical comedy and asked to join the small dancing/singing group to be named the "Doodletown Pipers" by Red Skelton and we did a lot of TV work like the variety Summer Replacement shows. I was singled out by a well know talent agency after being seen with them and on the very first "Dating Game" show and signed. I auditioned at the various studios and ended up under contract at Screen Gems as a contract player. I worked on Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, Hazel and at Screen Gems, That Girl, Love on a Rooftop, The Monkey's and a running role on Bewitched as Dick York's secretary, Betty.....I was asked to go to Vietnam in early 1967 with the USO on a Bob Hope tour but I inquired into going to more, smaller bases......You get what you ask for!......I was the first female entertainer to go to combat remote area's, field hospitals, Landing Zones (LZ's) and two aircraft carriers, the U.S.S. Hornet and the U.S.S. Enterprise (5,000 men and me, what a girls dream!)......We also toured small bases.
