Life
Currently residing in AZ as my Mom recently passed away and my 95 year old Dad is needing my help.
After leaving High School I went to Chapman University, received a BA in Communications and Criminal Justice. Was a polygraph examiner and eventually saw my way back to being an assistant to the "big wigs" at the major movie studios. Later was asked to be a personal assistant to several well known celebrities; Organized fund raising events with the Soap Opera stars and Police and Fire Depts. playing softball. Went back to school and became a Paralegal, and Licensed Medical Physician Assistant, a medical tanscriptionist and got my Masters in Organizational Management (I became a "Professional Student" by night)...decided that I needed something more, I decided to Develop a Game Show based on the board game, TriBond when that failed, I had the opportunity to represent several of the Tuskegee Airmen and their "works" and so I became a publisher of novels...Half Moon Publishers...The School Board in Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, GA wanted the language tamed a bit for 4th grade readers and above, so I am in the process making tho...Expand for more
se changes to the story, A Sparrow Has Wings. We have a Teachers' Circulumn Guide and the sequel book Higher Heights is now headed to the "big screen" with me as one of its Producers. We begin principal photography in November 2008. In 2003 I was named the Distinguished Alunm for the Chapman School of Film and Television.
From everything that I have been involved, I never married. I quit getting "in front of the Commercial and Film Cameras" but still maintain my Screen Actors Guild Card. Last year I was in a terrible car accident on the Long Beach 710 Freeway, was hit by a DUI driver who was racing his Truck against a BMW in excess of 100 mph so now I am working my way back from being totally disabled and trying to forge ahead. I have a cat named, "Inkee" because she always attempts to correct the screenplays and novels that I am correcting for clients.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone and sharing memories of Rio Hondo Elementary School, North Junior High and Warren High. I know there are some Downey Childrens Theatre Members too so it should be a memorable evening.
