Dan's Story
After high school graduation I went to college at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, I was married between my junior and senior years of college. After graduation from college I took a job as an accountant at Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto. While at Hewlett-Packard I went to Santa Clara Univerisity and graduated with an MBA in Finance in 1976. From their we went to Yosemite Naitonal Park where I was the Assistant Controller for the Yosemite Park and Curry Company and lived right in Yosemite Valley.. We moved from there back to Seattle where I worked for a healthcare consulting firm and traveled extensively throughout the United States on consulting assignments. thwestern University Medical School. We then returned to California where I ran a large radiology group in the central valley, as well as a large multispecialty medical group. As a result of the death of a 21 year old son in 2002 who was a meteorologist in the United States Air Force we eventually left the country and did missionary work through the Nazarene Church in Nairobi, Kenya where I also taught in the School of Business at United States International Univeristy. We returned from Africa to New York where I ran a large radiology group. We then moved to Phoenix where I ran a large anesthesia medical group. We are now back in the central valley and I am the Executive Director for the North Central Valley for Dignity Health. We have 6 children and 9 grandchildren.
