Heidi's Story

Life OK, well I have been married for 27 years, have 3 great kids,2 grandkids and a dog. Love to go camping/quadding on the weekends(winter too) Not really having a good year, mom passed away May 10th,dad passed away November 18th and my father in law passed away December 5th. Have a lot of great friends and co-workers whom have been very supportive to me and my family this year. Thank you to all! Have been dabbling a little in photography and loving it. My latest goal is to have one of my photos published within the next 1 1/2 years. So please, let me know what you think of my photos. Since I purchased my new camera almost 2 years ago, I have filled at least 7 or 8 flash cards. Put it this way, our European Holiday for our 25th anniversary..we were gone for 17 days and I took close to 1700 pictures. Yes...I am a shutterbug and proud of it. Who would have thought it..but its true. I am a receptionist for an insurance company (9+ years)and have been told from the beginning that I have a 1-900 phone voice. Someone once told me that I should be making money using my voice for company answering machines or something along those lines anyway. Oh..and in case no one noticed..my smile has improved 100%. Now I don't mind smiling for a picture. A few too many car accidents though. People ju...Expand for more
st love running into my vehicles and causing me unbelievable amounts of pain. My husband finally bought me a truck and for the past year I have felt a lot safer driving around. Well other than that..I just want to say to everyone who reads this, remember to tell the people you love, that you love them and do it on a regular basis, as you never know when or if you will see them again to express how you feel. Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. And remember 'Nothing is more contagious than a smile, so pass it along to as many people as you can.' Holding a door open, helping an elderly person cross a street or just letting someone ahead of you in line (for whatever reason)will make you feel good about yourself all day. Personally, I always buy a meal when I go to McDonalds. I never eat my fries and for the past 4 years I go out of my way to find a homeless person and hand them the hot fries. It makes me feel great knowing this person has had a little something to eat..today anyways. (Update on that fact...since a homeless person broke into my truck the day after I got back from dad's funeral (for an empty McDonalds bag I might add)and did $1300 worth of damage, I am not feeding the homeless for a while...I'm sure you understand.) Regards, Heidi Alberto (Buessecker)
