Heidi's Story
Life
Got married March 12, 2005 to college sweetheart, Cory Peters. Wedding was barefoot on the beach of Antigua (Caribbean West Indies) Bought a house in Grafton, WI. One baby girl as of May 2006. Two baby girls as of December 2007. I am an aunt 5 times over. Mandy (Arkebauer) McCumber and husband Neil had a little girl in July 2005. Heather (twin sister) married her college sweetheart, Harit Vora, August 2004. They live in Fort Collins, CO. Life is great!
School
I was definitely an over-achiever in high school (I can actually hear all of you laughing out there who knew me.) I wouldn't change my past and I have no regrets regarding all the activities I was in. But I have chilled out and my priorities have changed. I no longer want to conquer the world and be best friends with everone I meet. Took me awhile to figure out that that's okay.
I would do high school all over again in a heart beat.
I was so fortunate to have the Homestead High School education under my belt- it made college that much easier-- which lead to more fun!

Iowa was the best experience. Met my husband there. Met my best friends there. Dave Collins- amazing marketing professor that sparked my passion for direct marketing. Loved Chi Omega and Panhel for developing leadership and a strong back-bone. I visit every year and will encourage my future children to choose the Hawkeyes.
Workplace
I am fortunate to be using both of my college degrees in my current position as Marketing Manager, and I couldn't have picked a more perfect match with Doig Corporation in Cedarburg. Small company, family-owned with family-values. I thrive in this environment of creating newsletters and direct mailings and event coordination. I can't ever imagine leaving Doig (except, of course, when my Market America business is paying me 109k annually.) I also started my own photography business, HP Portraits, and specialize in maternity, child, and family portraits.
I started a Market America business in 1997. I am actively building and expect to retire within 2 years, living on the residual income. ark dot unfranchise dot com
