Heidi's Story
I can't believe it's been 45 years since graduating!!!
My current favorite saying. " Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end the faster it goes."
I wish I could have made it to the reunion, but we were in Colorado visiting friends.
I'm sure we all have many life experiences since our school days.Good times and hard times.
Seven years ago I was diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer.If I hadn't gone to the Mayo Clinic for a second opinion I wouldn't be here today.Doctors in the Twin Cities all said no to surgery.Thr...Expand for more
u much prayer and guidance I was led to a wonderful surgeon at Mayo and had an extensive surgery to remove a large tumor that affected many organs.
Although i still have tumors in my liver I am currently being treated with oral chemo drugs that so far are shrinking the tumors.I am feeling great with no side effects.
I am so blessed with a wonderful husband, great friends, family and my 4 legged kids which include my Arabian horse Mollie, my dog( Toby, a Yorkie) and my cat Charlie.
