Heidi's Story

Life I live in the San Francisco Bay area (since 1984). I completed a Masters Degree in Special Education and I have worked for the same non-profit social services agency in San Francisco for over ten years. My job title is "Family & Children's Services Director". I am divorced and currently in a domestic partnership of 14 years. I have one terrific son who is five years old and just started ...Expand for more
kindergarten, and a second terrific son who just joined our family in August. Our new son is now ten months old, and was placed with us for adoption. I love to run, and recently completed my sixth marathon, the San Francisco Marathon, on July 29th, 2007. However, though I am continuing to run as time allows, caring for the newest member of our family takes priority over races for the time being!
