Heidi's Story
When I attended Thornton I was Heidi Kay one of the 4 Kay girls that played basketball. After High School I still played ball on recreational teams. I attended a Business College and then began working. I was married to a fellow Thornton graduate Lee Bocot had 3 boys which are now young men. Lee Kay my oldest has 2 children LaJanae and Jaylen . very now and then. My middle son just graduated from Southern Illinois University on a full scholorship for basketball and is looking to play oversees. I work for one of the largest Insurance Companies State Farm as a Technical Analyst. I still try and do some roller skating if everyone remembers I did all the time. Gave up riding motor cycles but still ride a bike. LOL. I love the outdoors and staying active. High School was a great time. Learned a lot of valuable lessons playing ball that I was able to pass down to my son.
