Heidi's Story
Life
I didn't get to go to Molalla Union High school. My mom and I moved when I was in 7th grade. I still miss Molalla and the people that influenced me during that time, though. Those times were some of the best and worst in my life. Anyway, I moved to Virginia in 1982, attended Hayfield High in Alexandria, VA from '84-'87 and graduated from Potomac Sr. High school in Woodbridge, VA in '88. I have since attended college and received my AAS in Veterinary Technology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I have been married since 1997, have 3 beautiful children (2 boys,-> 11yrs (yeah, yeah, I've done the math...)& 5 yrs-& 1 girl,-> 8yrs), 4 dogs, 6 cats, 6 hamsters, a house in the country (kinda), flower and veggie gardens to keep me sane (?) and have just started a business selling bath aids, lotions, romance aids & "bedroom accessories" to keep me busy. (as if the other stuff wasn't enough??) I have had my ups and downs, made plenty of mistakes,...Expand for more
but Dammit, I am still alive and fighting by the grace of God. I have made alot of progress from who I was to who I am now. I am thankful for the bad times because they made me grow, and I'm thankful for the good times because they rescued me from the bad. Old demons are almost gone now, the ones made for me and the ones I created. I may never be perfect, but luckily God doesn't expect that of me. I wish everyone who reads this the best, even the lesser deserving (and you know who you are...) because I can. Because I am still here. Because you didn't succeed. Period. (the VA deceiver to whom that is directed-you know who you are. I have had and continue to have a better life than you ever could've offered me. Thank you for what you did. I would surely not be the strong, independent woman I am today without that experience. "That which does not kill us makes us stronger"...oh yeah, and I do, now, expect the unexpected. lesson learned.)
