I consider myself a pretty lucky person ... I'm a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I'm married to an amazing man, who is a fantastic Dad, and a wonderful partner ... appreciating my strengths while lovingly accepting my faults. I love being a Mom, and I've been blessed with 5 wonderful kids. From the oldest - who has already made me a Grandma more than once, to the youngest - who was quite a surprise ... being a Mom is the greatest job in the world and I wouldn't trade any of it. My kids are Ashley (27), Amanda (25), Amy (19), Andrew (17) and now little Cooper Joseph, who was born in October '06. Ashley & Amanda have grown in to incredible women, who are beautiful both inside & out. They both live a bit too far to see on a regular basis, which makes me sad. But unfortunately that's all part of growing up. Nobody ever told me when they were little that I would miss them so much when they were grown & gone. That makes me cherish these years with Amy & Andrew that much more. As teenagers go, they're pretty terrific kids. They're both very smart & funny, and they really know how to make me laugh, especially when I need it most. And now, of course, there's Cooper ... WOW ... we'll be on Social Security by the time he grows up...Expand for more
