Karen's Story
Life
I have been married to Alan since December 20, 1975. We have one married daughter. Since my college graduation (BA in elementary education), I have taught primary and middle school grades on and off for 33 years, as of 2023. During the time I lived in Arlington, TX, I taught first grade for five years at a private parochial school in Ft. Worth. the first, second, and third grades from 1988-1995. Currently, I am teaching in the special education program at a private parochial school in Memphis, TN. As of 2023, I teach English Grammar, Reading, Literature, and Math to primary and middle school students in small group settings. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our two granddaughters, ages 6 and 5. They are true blessings and our joy, not to mention adorable!
