Helen's Story
Life
It's been a wonderful life-better than this high school drop out had any right to expect. I married my childhood sweetheart, had children, spent my time raising them at the farm and our home in town. I started college while the children were young. What a great time that was! I'm now divorced and will be moving to Alb soon to look for work and new friends.
Update! I've made some wonderful friends, met some really strange people, learned more than I ever wanted to about technology, and did meet the man I now share my life with. I'm back to working on my art, spending too much...Expand for more
time building new studio space inside and out, and trying to figure out how people keep from growing webbed feet.
It's been over 2 yrs since the last post. Joe passed away Jan 11, 2008. I'll be moving back to NM this summer to be closer to our 3 grandchildren and family.
It's March 2010 and I will be taking one more set of competencies to finally get my teaching certification. It's funny that most of my classmates are retiring and I'm going to work! I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. Now, will someone please hire me so I can use all this education?
