Helen's Story
One of our highlights is having the family together for family dinners. We celebrate Valentines, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Christmas and sometimes St Patricks.
All the kids and step grandson live in a 3 mile radius and have their own homes here on the East Side. That's fantastick!
We have a granddaughter b 12/95; grandson 09/98, granddaughter b 06/09. married step grandson with two daughters b 6/2000 and 03/2003. Step graddaughter in Washington, married but no children.

My husband and I are living in the home I was raised in. I have enjoyed making changes to fit our tastes. It was a big change going from a two story home to one story. The 2-1/2 car garage proves that. Can get the lawnmower and grill in, but the cars set out.
Sewing is my favorite hobby.
My husband is retired. He is registered at the U of I library to do research. He has also taken computer classes and horticulture classes at the area college and does some photography. Some of his work is on fallenleafstudio.com.
