Life
May 2006 - Hi! I really hope to hear from some of my old friends from Dysart, that would be so great. I missed the last reunion and I would like to make the next one.
I went to work after high school and shortly thereafter got married. Now as I look forward to turning 50 years old later this year I have 25 years of marriage behind me, 2 divorces, 3 children, and 3 grandsons. (It could have been worse, I'm sure!):):)LOL
I've worked in Human Resources for the last 10 years and in the Healthcare field for 28. I absolutly love my work!
I have GREAT kids, I got lucky! I'm also in a committed relationship with a wonderful man I met at work about 3 years ago. He is an RN, delightful and funny, we laugh often. Life is good.
College

started there last august and even though it's hard to study after all this time I'm loving it!
Military
I am a Marine Mom. My son Justin joined the Marine Corps after 9/11. He was 18 years old and I thought I was going to faint! But he has made me so proud and we were so lucky he made it home from 2 tours in Iraq with 9 medals and a purple heart. He broke his hand in his 2004 tour when his convoy was hit with an IED. But fear not America the Marines made sure he had a cast with his trigger finger operational! I thought I was going to faint again! On April 7th of this year he completed his 4 year enlistment and moved back home from his base in NC. He is working, married, and happy. My life as a Marine Mom was the most stressful, emotional, and elated time in all of my near 50 years.
