Helen's Story
Life
I have 2 dogs and ,1 awesome son Braden. He has 2 children a boy Michael, a girl Natalie and a beautiful wife Kyle. He is very successful at his job and a great son, and 1 wounderful daughter Brenna that lives in Sumter, SC married to also a great guy Jon that is a Staff Sargent in the Army with 3 beautiful little girls Vanessa Kay, Hannah Grace and Alaina Brooklyn and 1 boy Levi Bryce. Vanessa was name after as some of you know as my very dear friend growing up. I retired as a Correctional Officer at a Maxium Security male prison and loved it, but it's was very different from what I did for about 26...Expand for more
yrs prior. I am not ready to fully retire, so decide to get my CDL and drive a school bus. I now work in the maintenance shop where they work on the buses. I still live a very full life with my children and grand-children. Life always continues on and so must I.
Workplace
I did a career change from medical, to going to the acedemy and became a Correctional Officer at a Maxium Security Male Institutions at the young age of 45yrs old. WOW! Now at 55 I left the prison in for jail and went to driving a school bus. Lol what can I say I love an adventure. I continue to work for the State in the maintenance shop.
