I worked for Governor Don Siegelman for some thirty odd years, and loved it. I got to do the art work for the State offices he presided over, and took off every four years to do art work and community organizing for his campaign.
I have done a lot of traveling, primarily in Europe. I have been to a NATO Conference, to Berlin when the wall came down, and to Russia where I was one of many entertained by the sons and daughters of the Polit Bureau. I once bought a VW in Germany and drove all over Europe before having it shipped back to the states.
I now live on a fixed income complicated by the recession, but am happy with who I am and what I have and will accomplish.
I have two grandchild, Noah, Nancy and Brad's son, and a granddaughter, Ariel, Josh's daughter born November 11, 2009.".
