Laura's Story

Indiana University, Majored in Fine Arts/Art Education, graduated 1976, surprise, could not find meaningful employment, joined the military, served 20 years, had lots of adventures and saw the world, retired as LCDR, became a Systems Engineer/AIT expert, designing ships, got wiped out by Katrina, moved to Fort Smith Arkansas (I saw no ...Expand for more
point at all in re-building in the same place!) Have a now 16 year old daughter, we love it here and I am a full time artist and I am keeping my old, historic house (what a chore! Housekeepers h=get a bum rap!) I work with Fibre and clay and paint and draw and whatever takes my fancy. Am getting old and slowing down, however...Sigh.
