Henry's Story
HOORAY for Henry, After 43 years service, with the Georgia Power Company, I am starting my second life, I am retired. Every day is Saturday. I will be able to ride my bicycle more, I want to ride the katy trail in Missouri. I should be able to ride for the next 40 years are so, HA HA. I am still interested in blast furnaces (Cane Creek Furnace) . I have lived in Georgia for 43 years, but Georgia is not ALABAMA. I often think of my few years, walking the halls of OHS. I still live on Hogliver Road in Carroll...Expand for more
County Georgia. I still have my little wiennie dog ,Scrappy. My sons ride bikes with me ever once and a while, but are not into long rides, like dad. I have been to the Janney furnace park at Ohatchee, It is great. I ride from weaver to Cedartown on the Chief Ladiga/ Silver comet trail ever now and then. My son and I are going out West in June, to see some sights. A lot of folks travel abroad, but I don"t believe one can see every sight here in the good old USA .I will close now, and Thanks for the Memories.
