Life
Brief: Married (Jaime), 3 sons (Patrick 10, David 4, Lucas 0.5), living in Hartville OH. Technical Consultant for SumTotal Systems since 10/2006.
U.Akron - BSME 1996.
Bridgestone Firestone Akron Tech Center - 1996 to 2006. Worked in Latin America Tire Dev, Argentina Tire Factory, IT Software Dev, and Test Division writing Data Acquisition software.
SumTotal Systems Inc. - 2006 to 2010. Technical Consultant, working from home and travelling. Implmented SumTotal's Enterprise Talent Management software ("LMS" and "Performance Mgmt") to Fortune-1000 corporations and SMB. Recently left SumTotal (July 2010), interviewing for similar positions as Technical Consultant, also exploring possibilities as Software and Database developer/contractor.
I married my wonderful wife, Jaime (Burbridge), in 2002. Our first date was one day before the Garfield c/o '91 10-year reunion! She is a 1994 graduate of Springfield H.S. We have 3 sons, Patrick McSteen (by marriage) born 1997, David Herbert Whitacre born 2001, and Lucas Godfrey Whitacre born 11/13/2006.
We live in beautiful Hartville, Ohio since 2003.
I also am Director of Music Dept at Legacy Church (2445 S. Arlington Rd.). Come visit us Sundays at 9am and 11am.
Haven't heard anything about a 20-year reunion yet.
