Herbert's Story
What I am holding up above my head is a piece of rope, not just any rope, but one that came off of a Guinness World Record Tug of War rope. In Okinawa the Tug of War takes place every October. This rope was over 600 feet long and weighed in at 44 tons. It literally takes thousands of people pulling on each side to do battle. After the rope pull is over, the people cut pieces of the 44 ton rope to take home and keep as a souvenir to represent good luck. And how I went fishing in Alaska and caught all the species of salmon to include the King Salmon, and how I got hired on with The Boeing Company as a Technicial representative, blah... blah... blah, but I'd rather show you how I live.
