Melanie's Story

Hi everyone--this is what has been going on with me for the last 40 yrs- after graduation went to Pierce College and got my degree in nursing, graduating in June, 1973. In July, 1973 started working at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank in the ICU. Still at St. Joe's, but now work in the ER. Got married in June 1972 to John (Jack) Canning (CPHS '68), ...Expand for more
and settled into domestic life. Had 3 children, Allison (1975), Christa (1980) and Brandon (1983) and have lived in Agoura Hills since 1975. Jack and I divorced in 1999, but I have been in a wonderful relationship with Dwayne Servillo, a Burbank firefighter/paramedic who I met in the ER, for 6 yrs. Enjoying life-will become a grandmother for the first time in Nov.
