Marie's Story
How can you sum your life up in a paragraph? Hard, but I'll try. I have
four children; 3 boys an one girl. In age they are 28, 22, 20 and 15. No
grandchildren and non expected at this time. Robin & I have "migrated"
to areas that are more rural in order to pursue the business of operating
a kennel. At present, we live in Lake Butler, Florida. It is certainly one
of the most wonderful places to live. The people are friendly and I
love the home town atmosphere. My two older sons live with my parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Hewett, in Jacksonville. Mother and Dad are now 85 and 87
years old. Mark and Chris help out so much. If you knew me, you pro-
bably would know Mother and Dad. They are still the same, funny and
sweet. Although, we are separated by a one hour distance, will still
work as one. Mother and Dad are having some physical problems, but
as a unit, we work through it. We also have a grooming shop in Lake
Butler, small, but functional. This is where my daughter works. My
youngest is still being home schooled and he also takes care of all of

live stock and the kennel. All of the kids have turned out to be good
and hard working individuals, with sweet personalities. They each have
a talent, and I am so pround of them. Life has been one big adventure,
full of surprises, and I keep promising to write a book! Instead, I have
begun writing songs. I never knew that I could, but I have enjoyed this
more than I ever imagined. Heather has recorded a couple of them. We
are in the process of adding to the portfolio and at present, we could
have about (2) albums. Do they even use the word album anymore? Oh
well, I do. These songs have been written over the last one+ year. It's
been fun. We try to work very hard, but also enjoy music, humor and
good conversation. I am not a "computer person," but would rather
deal with people, instead. I think that we are getting away from our
human element and from God. In these times, we cannot do without
either. God has blessed us all with so much and I am thankful for my
health, family, home, business and all the other blessings bestowed
on me.
