tty and I married in 1968, and we have two sons. Scott was born in 1971, has two daughters Sarah and Rachel, and works as a civil engineer in Reno. Brett was born in 1981, has a son, Beckett, and is a civil engineer in Denver.
I love the outdoor emphasis of my profession. We also love life in Colorado with the skiing, mountain biking, hiking, running, fishing, golf, etc. I retired from the university in June 2014 and will continue to teach a few courses for the next few years and consult part time. I want to work less and play with my grand kids more.
