As friendly, kind and tolerant. Something of a leader and a pretty good flautist. If I'm remembered this way, it'll please me. Although I went to an "ivy league" college, having gotten several degrees at this point (and married one of my profs (!) , I've come to the conclusion that it's the professor who makes for a good education, not the school. And I tell young people that all the time: gather all the dirt they can about the faculty they think they might be studying with. Then choose your school and your major. I've never had a job I didn't like. I count 6 since my first MEd., & the 6th after receiving an MPA here at UTK . I loved all the jobs and just fell into them one after the other---never went on a job search. Retired from the GAO (where I did management auditing in Washington) before my time because of illness which forced retirement. Have replaced the job with civic & condo activity in Arlington, VA, which I can do at my own pace and which keeps my brain from turning to mush! Don't know what year it was, but I got to go to Cumberland Falls with Judy Wolfe and her parent...Expand for more
