Update: Still living in Oakland, but bought myself a house in late 2007. Also been working in Biotechnology since 2005. Still riding that great BMW bike EVERY day. Madly in love for a year and a half with a Parisian. Life is even better. (Last update June, 2008.) Can't believe I'm 45!

enter (the DOE and Stanford University collaborative laboratory for research in high energy physics) to my job as the Writing Team Coordinator (Technical Writer/Editor) for the lab's Environment, Safety, and Health Division.
