Cindy's Story
Life
I started working in July after graduation at an optometrist's office fitting people with glasses and contact lenses. This is where I met my future mother-in-law. She fixed me up on a blind date in March of 1985. I got engaged in May of 1986 and was married in June of 1987. I have been married to the same wonderful man since then and have 2 beautiful daughters. Malorie was born in 1992 and Jennifer who was born in 1995. Both girls are excellent students. Jennifer is in the GATE program and Malorie is part of the Advanced Academic Academy at the high school.
I am currently a stay at home mom (who is never at home). I am VERY active in the PTO at the Elementary School and am looking forward to handing this over after 10 years.
We purchased our 5 year (hahaha) starter home in 1989 and have now purchased our...Expand for more
dream home (in 2002) and have been working to make it just the way we want it.
Mom and Dad are doing great and have been enjoying their motor home. This past summer, they spend OVER 3 months traveling in it all over the east coast. Both of my parents are cancer survivors!! Mom has been cancer free for 11 years now and dad has been cancer free for 4 years.
Shari (the little sister) is doing well for herself. She too is a stay at home mom with two great kids. The only problem with her, she's currently going through a divorce. If you remember her, you may want to drop her a line. She could use a little pick up.
We really feel that our lives have truly been blessed. Someone has really been watching over us all.
